Island Trees girls’ varsity bowler Emily McLaughlin made it to the county level for team and individuals where she competed against the best bowlers in Nassau. Incredibly, Emily placed first in the county’s individual competition at Garden City, which qualified her for the Nassau County All-Star Bowling Team.
McLaughlin and her teammates went on to represent Nassau County in the New York State competition, finishing in 6th place in the state, and 33rd individually.
