Long Island Elite (LIE) recently welcomed Melissa Kaiser, Assistant Vice President of the Retail Banking Division and Levittown Branch Manager, Astoria Bank, to its board of directors.
She will serve as the not-for-profit organization’s Fundraising Chair. Since its founding in 2002, LIE has been dedicated to fostering the growth, development and leadership capabilities of business professionals and is committed to sponsoring activities to help those less fortunate living in Long Island communities.
“I welcome Melissa to the LIE board and look forward to working with her. She has the personality, zeal and skills necessary to fulfill her role as our Fundraising Chair,” said Evan Bloom, LIE co-president and co-owner of Sir Speedy in Westbury.
“Long Island Elite has helped me broaden my contacts and share my passion for banking, which has been beneficial to my professional growth,” said Kaiser. “In this new role, I hope to help others be successful and bring the business community together.”
Kaiser has more than a decade of banking experience and has been recognized for her financial expertise and quality customer service. She became the Astoria Bank Levittown Branch
Manager in 2013 and shares the bank’s commitment to the communities it serves. She currently serves on boards of the Levittown Chamber of Commerce and the YES Community Counseling Center.
