Obituary: Ralph F. Johnson

Ralph F. Johnson of Lake Worth, FL, and Glenwood Landing, died on Oct. 23, 2015, at the age of 87. A Korean War veteran, member of Glenwood Landing Fire Co. and Glenwood Landing American Legion Post 336. Beloved husband of the late Jean and Rita. Loving father of Candace Capobianco, Judy Dwyer, Jill Fectig, Harry “Jake” Johnson, Bruce Johnson, Barry Flood, Wayne Flood and the late Cathy O’Keefe. Cherished grandfather of 20 and great-grandfather of 12. He is also survived by a brother; Joseph. Memorial visiting Thursday, Dec. 3, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Whitting Funeral Home, 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head, www.whitting.com Memorial service Friday, Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church of Sea Cliff. Interment of ashes to follow at Calverton National Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice of West Palm Beach or Parkinsons.
