Pauline Ferguson, 89, of Mineola, passed away Nov. 20 in Easton, PA. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Lydia (VanHise) Smires.
Ferguson was a long time employee of the Long Island Railroad. She was a past president of Mineola Leisure Club, and a member of the Golden Age Club. She enjoyed reading and organizing bus trips for her senior clubs.
Surviving are sons; Blair, and his wife, Valerie, of Easton, PA and Harvey, of Houston, TX; a granddaughter Kimberly; and sister-in-law Mary Lou Smires of Floral Park. She was pre-deceased by siblings Frances Jacobson, Florence Smires and Harvey Smires.
