Calvin R. “Ray” Pearsall, 79, of Floral Park, passed away suddenly on Nov. 19, 2015. Born on Oct. 22, 1936, to Calvin and Frances Frey Pearsall, whose iniquitous passing haunted him to the end. He was raised a Lutheran and unknowingly entered into eternity as a Catholic. A lifelong resident and descendant of the original settlers of Long Island, Ray was a gregarious, talented, kind, generous and patient man who loved animals, music, building, gardening and his Harley. Beloved father to Martha Mills of NH, Rachel Medina of NJ and dog, Cassie. Survived by his second wife, with whom he endured over 35 years of marriage, her son, Kevin, his wife, Michele, and his cherished grandchildren, Ashley and Brendan.
