The Island Trees girls varsity basketball team is on a mission…a fundraising mission. They call it “Mission Orlando.”
Coach Bob Kaibel and the team are committed to play in a five-day tournament in Orlando, FL, this December over the holiday break. The tournament att
racts teams from all over the country. Part of their fundraising efforts was a teacher versus teacher basketball game last Friday night in the high school’s gym.
A total of 19 teachers participated from Stokes school, the middle school and high school. In a close fought game, the Green Team came out victors with a score of 51-47.
