St. Mary’s Thanksgiving Drive-thru Food Drop, Monday, November 6
People need food assistance all through the year, but especially during the holiday season. Good Samaritan House of the Church of St. Mary is hosting a “Thanksgiving Drive-thru Holiday Food Drop” with the goal of collecting the freshest possible food items to allow our neighbors suffering in poverty to enjoy a true feast with their families on Thanksgiving.
The collection will take place on Monday, November 6, 2023, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the parking lot behind the Church of St. Mary – 1300 Northern Blvd., Manhasset.
Items Needed: 10-15 pounds max frozen turkeys, frozen oven-stuffer chickens, 3-8 pound bags of potatoes, fresh apples/oranges, 1 pound size butter, crescent rolls/biscuits, canned vegetables, cake/muffin/brownie mixes, quarts of milk (no gallons, please), frozen pies/cakes/cookies. Grocery store gift cards are welcome!
