Join the Great Neck Library for an exciting and fun-filled day as they kick off their Children’s Summer Challenge on June 27.
The theme this year is “Color Your World,” celebrating the arts.
Beginning at 10:30 a.m., the library will have The Nightingale Farm Summer Singalong for young children. Children and their caregivers alike will discover unique instruments, rhythms, languages and sounds from around the world.
This program will be first come, first serve, as space allows.
At 1 p.m., join Sweetbriar Nature Center for an exciting animal program, “Nature’s Coloring Book.” Animals of all colors will be present as they take children along the rainbow.

To round up the day off, the library will host its second annual talent showcase beginning at 2 p.m. Come and show any talent you have. Almost anything goes. The library asks that performers keep their portion to seven minutes or less.
Registration for this event is only for those who wish to participate. Registration for the talent show will begin June 13. Everyone is welcome to come and watch.
These events will take place at the Great Neck Library’s Main Building, located at 159 Bayview Ave. in Great Neck on Friday, June 27, starting at 10:30 a.m.
